Recipes
Ingredients
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
1 bunch scallions sliced thin, whites and greens separated
3 tablespoons molasses
1/3 cup naturally brewed soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed
2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions
1. In a large bowl, mix together the garlic, ginger, scallion whites, molasses, naturally brewed soy sauce and sesame oil.
2. Toss in with the wings and let stand 4 hours or overnight, refrigerated.
3. Prepare a hot, clean grill (can also be done in the broiler using the lowest rack for 8 minutes a side). Grill the wings, turning often to avoid flare ups. Continue to cook for 12-14 minutes; until golden, brown and delicious. Serve piled high on serving platter, garnish with sesame seeds and scallion greens.
