Grilled Cauliflower Steaks
Yields 2 steaks
1 head cauliflower
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
½ teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoon scallion greens to garnish
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1. Preheat your grill.
2. With a sharp knife, core the cauliflower. Cut two “steaks” by cutting large slices from the center of the cauliflower, about one-inch thick.
3. Paint one side of the slices with Dijon mustard and hoisin sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Spray the grill with non-stick oil and place the “steaks” sauce side down on the grill. Paint the other side with the remaining mustard and hoisin, and season. Grill about 3 minutes per side.
4. Drizzle the cauliflower steaks with sesame oil and top with scallion greens and serve.
