JASMINE BANANA CARAMEL SAUCE
FOR ICE CREAM SUNDAES

Makes 1 quart

  • 1 recipe Jasmine Caramel Sauce, reduced by 50 percent

  • 3 fresh bananas, sliced

  • Vanilla ice cream

  • Toasted almond slices

Place sliced bananas in a medium bowl and pour warm caramel sauce over them. Keep warm until ready to use and serve with vanilla ice cream, garnished with toasted almonds. The caramel sauce can be prepared a week in advance, however the bananas should be added the same day as serving.

Note: For a truly amazing sundae, top slices of the Toasted Almond Tea Cake with ice cream, spoon Jasmine Banana Caramel Sauce over, and garnish with toasted almonds and Toasted Sesame Nougat Bark. Wow!

Serve with: Ambazillac Cuvée Mademoiselle
