Turkey-Bacon Burger
Serves 4
- 1 pound ground naturally fed turkey meat
- 1/4 cup Sweet Chile Sauce, plus extra for
garnish
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 8 strips cooked bacon
- 4 toasted sesame seed buns
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1 small iceberg, shredded
- Favorite potato chips
In a large bowl, mix the turkey with the Sweet
Chile Sauce. Working quickly, and with a light hand, make 4 patties
and season. In a sauté pan coated lightly with butter and oil on
high heat, sear burgers, about 5-6 minutes a side, until completely
cooked through. Build the burger: layer tomato slice on bun half,
top with burger, lettuce, bacon and extra Sweet Chile Sauce. Top
with bun half and serve with your favorite potato chips.
